About the position

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Backend Developer. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in modern backend technologies to elevate our web application. You'll be comfortable working with powerful languages like Java or Golang, utilizing frameworks like Spring Boot 3 (Java) or Webflux (Java) for efficient development.

Understanding containerization with Docker will be a plus, as we utilize it for streamlined deployments. Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL will be valuable, along with an interest in cloud hosting platforms like Google Cloud Platform.

Work environment

Our office is in Debrecen, where our developer team works seamlessly on daily tasks. Assigned by the team leader, these tasks are efficiently managed and reported back to them. What you'll be doing

• Solve diverse and complex problems of scale, performance, and availability
• Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain the backend systems for our web application
• Utilize your proficiency in the required languages (Java and Golang) to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Work with frameworks like Spring Boot 3 (Java) or Webflux (Java) to streamline development processes
• Leverage containerization with Docker to ensure smooth deployments and scalability
• Interact with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) to manage and manipulate data effectively
• Work on Google Cloud Platform for cloud-based deployments
• Learn new technologies to accommodate feature development requirements

What we expect from you

• 3+ years experience as a Backend Developer
• Extended Java and Golang knowledge
• Strong experience with the Spring Boot 3, Webflux frameworks
• Ability to manage data with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Can ensure smooth deployments and scalability with Docker
• Familiar with Google Cloud Platform for cloud hosting
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Making sure there are no errors or bugs on the backend
• At least intermediate English language knowledge
